For EP realization educational – methodical complex is of a specialty (EMCS) are made, they also include SOSE of a specialty, standard curriculums, standard educational programs, working curriculums, a map of educational – methodical provision of disciplines, methodical instruction on professional practice, methodical directions on diploma project and methodical instructions on the final state attestation.
EMCD which contains documents and educational – methodical materials concerns teacher’s teaching activity.
EMCS and EMCD correspond with general requirements for Baccalaureate (level of knowledge, skills and competences), organization technologies, management and support of the educational process content and organization of final qualification testing accounting employers’ requirements.
EMDs (WCs, programs of state exams and practice, methodical instructions and recommendations) are discussed at Council of the higher school, agreed by EMC then they are approved by vice rector for academic affairs.
All inner documents of EMCs and EMCD are expertized and discussed at the department. Head of the department is responsible for availability and content of the documents. The department is responsible for preparedness of educational – methodical materials. The EMCD documents are regarded at the sittings of the department and EMC.
All disciplines of EP are equipped with educational – methodical materials of high scientific level. Credit technology allows to have a freedom of choice of disciplines included into a catalogue of modular educational program which provides their immediate participation in an IC, free to choose a tutor and involving advisers into the educational process.
SIW is realized according to themes for an independent work. SIW’s control is realized by tests, colloquium, control work, essay, abstract, report. Current control is realized according to 100 – point system in lectures, practical classes and SIW, results of control are placed in the electronic system’’ AIS. Platonus “on the 3,5,7,10,12,14 weeks of studies.
Supply with educational – methodical literature (EML) on electronic and magnetic media of disciplines is 100%. Supply with EML for cycle of basic and profiling disciplines is 80%. The EML worked out by Tutorial staff is used in the educational process (educational tools, recommendations, manuals), i.e. A.N.Halila “Parasitology”, “Technology of teaching Biology” – G.S.Halikova, “Work-shop on Zoology” – G.M.Sartbaeva and others.
For 5B011300 – “Biology” specialty the educational – methodical complexes of disciplines in electronic media, electronic textbooks and educational tools for practical and laboratory classes are worked out and used in studies. For the independent work students use internet sites, thematical videos, video lectures of outstanding home and foreign scientists of Biology.
Tutorial staff actively uses innovational technologies and contemporary methods of teaching. Besides tutors use traditional and innovative methods, discussions and presentations, role plays, work in small groups. The use of all these means provides development of learning interests and abilities, creative thinking and skills of independent mental work. Department tutors use demonstrative materials as slides, video lectures and handouts.
Active and innovative methods of teaching are used, they are lecture conversation, lecture – conversation, lecture – dispute, game technology, technology of collective and group activity, imitation methods of active teaching, cooperative learning, creative teaching, project technology, brain storming, case study, team game, colloquium and others.
All these are resulted in students’ well doing during a learning period, final attestation and satisfaction with a quality of education. When offering a lecture students are offered to listen to a new material, its recording, Table completing, watching video and others. For the current period 23 demonstration classes were planned, 18 of them were held.
Themes of demonstration lessons correspond with a working curriculum of the discipline.

One of the most important forms of evaluation of the effectiveness and quality of teaching is the interaction of attendance. The main purpose of visiting faculty interaction is to assess professional competence. The results of the interaction of visits are discussed at faculty meetings and are reflected in magazines interaction of visits.
