ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF GEOGRAPHY
Today the Department "Geography" is one of the developing educational and scientific departments of SKSPU, which makes a great contribution to the training of highly qualified specialists who meet the modern requirements of the time.
In the 2017-2018 academic year, the Department took the first place in the University on scientific indicators. PhD, senior lecturer G. B. Isataeva is among the ten teachers with the highest score in monitoring among the teaching staff.

In 2017-2019 at Zhetysu state University. I. Zhansugurov and Karaganda state University. E. A. Buketov at the IX Republican subject Olympiads in the specialty 5B011500-Fundamentals of law and Economics, our students took the 3rd place in a row for 3 years.
In 2018, at the X Republican subject Olympiad in Karaganda state University. E. A. Buketov students of specialty 5B011600-Geography were awarded a Diploma of the III degree. Head Alimbekova G. T.
2017-2018 school year, the student majoring 5В012900-Geography-History Chynybek Abylaikhan at the annual Republican contest of student research projects MES RK won the 3rd place under the guidance of senior lecturer K. N. Nаlmishovа.
